We know that planning out your Independent Mapping Project can seem pretty overwhelming at times, so on this section of the website past students have compiled together a number of resources to help you get started! This includes advice on how to plan and write up your project, as well as logistical information about different areas across the globe that you could map. |
To complete your integrated Masters, in your final year will be required to undertake independent research and write up a 4th year project. Here past students provide some advice including how to go about choosing a project, the different types of projects available, tips on managing your time and writing up your final project, as well as how to prepare for your viva. |
There are quite a number of various grants, bursaries and scholarships available to help support you throughout your degree and/or designed to cover any additional expenses incurred during your mapping project and/or 4th year project.
