An Earth Sciences degree from Oxford can lead to a wide range of careers. Upon graduation, a large proportion of our students go onto further study, predominantly into research-based degrees such as a PhD. Another large subset go on to geoscience-related careers across a large range of industries including within the energy, environmental and mining sectors. Many graduates also use the plethora of transferable skills an Earth Sciences degree will give you to pursue careers across other sectors, such as teaching, consultancy, finance and more.
