OUGS is committed to providing events and opportunities that are always welcoming and safe for all participants, are free from unlawful discrimination and harassment, and where all participants are treated with dignity and respect. Adherence to this Code of Conduct is a requirement for all OUGS members and OUGS sponsors at all times and especially at any OUGS-run or OUGS-affiliated events. All OUGS members are also responsible for the behaviour of any and all guests they bring to an OUGS event. This Code of Conduct covers all aspects of the Oxford University Geological Society, including all social, sporting and academic events, as well as all communication, including that via email or any social media accounts associated with the society.
