Wales has long been a popular area for geologists to map, and also has a long established mining history. With quite varied geology and some units even dating back as far as the Late Pre-Cambrian, you will be sure to find something of interest to you here! You may even recognise some of the rock units from your very first field trip to Pembrokeshire in 1st year.
